My Presidential Goals

• Create a website explaining how the Texas Juvenile Justice System works with videos and supplemental pamphlets that help educate children, the public and attorneys on juvenile-specific topics.
• Work alongside Texas Lawyers for Texas Veterans programming to further promote and develop Veterans Legal Clinics and Specialty Veterans’ Treatment Courts throughout Texas.
• Spotlight opportunities for pro bono work around adoptions. Create legal resources explaining the process of adopting a DFPS foster child.
• Create a legal resource to help attorneys and the public understand what happens when a DFPS report is made and the subsequent legal actions that may follow if DFPS finds that there is reason to believe an allegation of abuse or neglect has taken place against a child.
• Educate attorneys and the public about the crime victims’ compensation fund and other civil remedies for crime victims.
